Top 10 Best Driving Gloves of 2017

Did you ever wonder why the storage compartment in your dashboard is called the glove box? In the past, drivers had to wear hats, goggles, and driving gloves to protect themselves from dust, the wind, and rain. Nowadays, automobiles are very different from old cars. Every car on the road has a roof to protect the drivers. Thus, gloves aren’t necessary for all people. However, there are several reasons for wearing driving gloves:

  • The tack of a leather glove offers superior grip and control over the wheel.
  • It reduces the vibrations from your wheel that tires your hand when driving for long periods of time.
  • It acts as a barrier that protects your wheel from oil and sweat.
  • It keeps your hands comfortable in extreme weather conditions.
  • Lastly, it makes you look cool and stylish.

Thanks for this very informative post! I use the Freetoo Men’s Full Finger Motorcycle Gloves. I ride my motor bike to work every day that’s why I prefer to use driving gloves to protect my hands. Aside from the obvious reason of protection, they look stylish too (my wife always say that it looked great on me).

I had a little accident on my way to work while riding my bike last year. Fortunately, I’m wearing my motorcycle gloves which protected me from very serious injuries. Now, I do not go riding without my gloves.

I used to reason that wearing gloves are just for vain people. However, just like you, I’ve had a little accident on my bike. Now, I do not ride without them!

My palms are always sweating and I don’t want to soil my car’s steering wheel. That’s the main reason why I use Elma Traditional Women’s Italian Nappa Leather Gloves when driving my children to school. Most people noted my gloves and would always conclude that I’m a vain person – they just do not know my medical condition.

Most accidents involving motorcyles and bikes usually result injuries on the head, hands and knees. The most of these injuries can be avoided by using a good pair of driving gloves and helmet.
