My very first camera as a student and photography enthusiast was the Cannon EOS Rebel. I kinda like it way back, but have found real freedom and with Nikon D3200. The skintone of my models are very much different when I use Nikon, compared to the greenish skintone using Cannon camera. I think this a very distinctive consideration when buying one.

I so agree with you! My Cannon camera which I used for portrait photos have that greenish tint. I even adjusted the lighting, yet I don’t get that ‘perfect’ tone for portraits! I think it has to do with the coating of their lenses. Thanks for sharing 🙂

If you want to invest on something that would last longer, I recommend Nikon. I do photography for 15 years and I have used many brands available in the market. However, my very first camera was Nikon D70 and my! it still work perfectly today. Even the lens never gets a mold!
